Cream Cheese Flan

1 c sugar
3 eggs
6 oz cream cheese, softened
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 can evaporated milk
1 t salt
1 t vanilla

Caramelize 1 c sugar in a heavy pan. Pour into a mold (or a round metal pan .) Keep mold standing in hot water. Then pour in caramelized sugar to coat bottom of mold. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat together remaining ingredients and pour into molds. Set mold(s) into a casserole dish of water and bake this way for 50 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean. Chill, invert and serve.
