4 eggs
2 ½ c sugar
8 c milk
3 c whipping cream
2 ½ T pure vanilla
½ t salt
Mix ingredients and follow instructions on your ice cream maker. Other flavors can be added: banana, chocolate syrup, shaved chocolate, chocolate chips, strawberries, mint & chocolate chips, nuts, butterscotch syrup, etc. Use your imagination.

When we first moved to Salta, Argentina in 1978, this hand-written recipe was with the old ice cream maker left by the first WGM missionaries, Frank and Doris Robbins. The ice cream maker (electric) was traded around between the missionaries and provided ice cream for birthday parties, picnics, and other special occasions. The recipe was entered into the minutes of the Argentine Field monthly staff meeting and became the official WGM ARGENTINE FIELD VANILLA ICE CREAM for our field.
By adding fresh fruit and other flavoring ingredients (strawberries, peaches, bananas, peanut butter, chocolate, nuts, etc,) the flavor can be changed to any type of favorite ice cream.
